Alex grew up in the north-west of England and emigrated to Australia in 2011 as he loved the lifestyle and location of the beautiful Illawarra region. He attended school and college in the UK, and his education was concluded with a Bachelor of Laws LLB BA (Hons) degree at Manchester Metropolitan University.

Living in Albion Park with his wife Samantha, and their 3 sons, they are able to enjoy all of the local delights this region has to offer. Family time is very important to Alex so in his spare time, he loves to spend time with them travelling around the area visiting the many quaint little towns, visiting the beautiful and best beaches in the world and dining and exploring the vibrant cafes and restaurants in this area.
