In November 2002, after spending 20 years in the Middle East, working as a Human Resources Manager in the hospitality industry, Belinda moved to Golden Bay for a "lifestyle change"! By September 2003, she had obtained her selling license and started working in the real estate industry with Golden Bay First National. Over the next four years, she obtained both the National Certificate and National Diploma in Real Estate and in early 2007, she received her Associate Membership to the Real Estate Institute.

Belinda joined the team of Harcourts Golden Bay in September 2007 and in April 2011 became joint owner/operator of the Golden Bay franchise, until it ceased operating due to the ill health of her business partner in August 2013.

So, in September 2013, Belinda rejoined the team of Golden Bay First National and is enjoying working with familiar faces and in a team environment. Since returning to First National, Belinda has been the recipient of the Chairman’s Award for Excellence on a number of occasions and has consistently won awards for annual sales.

During her real estate career, Belinda has gained a wide range of experience and has sold many different types of properties - ranging from homes in town to bachs by the beach; from motor camps to farms and businesses and commercial buildings in the centre of Takaka. She has a wealth of knowledge and experience that she enables her to assist both vendors and purchasers in all aspects of selling and buying, offering a professional but friendly service. Her success stems from her local knowledge and her awareness of market conditions.

She enjoys working in the real estate industry and brings with her the philosophy that she learnt in the hospitality industry – that of – communication, care and providing uncompromising service. Her clients all pay tribute to her dedication, warmth, commitment, hard work and enthusiasm.

In order to keep up with current real estate affairs, Belinda prides herself on ensuring her training and knowledge of systems is up to date and goes well beyond the required 20 hours of training that all agents are expected to do in order to keep their licence. Belinda regularly attends training sessions and seminars to ensure you get the most accurate information.
