Jaala Cusack

Jaala Cusack began her real estate career as a Property Officer in Queensland before being promoted to the role of Property Manager. Relocating to Sydney in 2006 to work for a Lower North Shore agency, Jaala meticulously managed a portfolio of high-end residential properties. She excelled in choosing the right tenant for the right property and negotiating preliminary offers to achieve the best possible result for the owner. Recognising that prestige rentals required a specialised level of service and a pro-active style of management, Jaala more than doubled the number of high-end rental properties in her portfolio within one year. After five years with this company, Jaala was approached by another local agency to run their property management division. This required her to efficiently oversee the office, manage the staff, maintain the portfolio, liaise with landlords and tenants and to generate new business. In 2012 Jaala established her own business with Sarah Latham - Latham Cusack Property. An agency which provides both a professional sales and property management service, delivered on a friendly, personal level. Together, Jaala and Sarah revolutionised the traditional systems and procedures, pushing the boundaries to create streamlined processes which gives their clients the edge. In 2013, Latham Cusack Property won the Australian Real Estate Award for ’Best New Office’. In 2017, they won both the Real Estate Training Group Property Management business of the year and the PPM Group Award for Excellence for Business Development Manager of the Year.
