James Keady

James has held a Stock & Station Agent, Real Estate Agent & Auctioneer's Licence since 1974 when he joined the family firm of James P Keady & Co which, was established by James’s Grandfather, Timothy Keady, in 1912. James is the third generation, taking over from his father, Jim, in 1998. The Keady firm has been approached by every existing franchise company in Cowra to represent their respective companies, only to be disappointed with a definite no. Our motto since 1978 has been “We are not a franchise company – we are a family Company” with family values and integrity and “where a hand shake will always seal the deal”. James has lived all his life on a rural farm which gives him the edge over many other rural sales persons when communicating with rural clients. Specialising mainly in rural and commercial property sales, James prides himself with a sound knowledge of these industries. He is also involved in livestock sales in association with stockmen Craige Oliver and Kevin Harrison, with a combined 120 years’ experience between them. James P Keady & Co continues to grow in all facets of the industry, be it residential, rural and commercial sales, property management or livestock sales and auctions.
