Nicholas Slatyer

With an intuitive sense of the property market and a results driven history of consistently high top level sales, Nicholas Slatyer, Principal/Director of Belle Property Cairns, continues to set the benchmarks of the North Queensland real estate industry. Motivated by a desire to excel, Nicholas' expertise has been honed in a career spanning nearly two decades of challenging sales-oriented roles – including nine years in the competitive Sydney environment. Moving to the north in 2003, Nicholas has continued to accomplish impressive results, whilst maintaining his definitive sense of integrity. His role as Project Sales Director on Belle Property's Havana development, in Port Douglas, saw him set new standards in the region by achieving the highest ever off plan sales rate in North Queensland, securing over 100 contracts in just nine months. At the age of 29, in 2005 Nicholas became principal of Coldwell Banker Cairns, encompassing a specialised portfolio of luxury residential property, CBD penthouses and beachfront property. He immediately began setting precedents, achieving record residential sales, successfully collaborating with local developers to sell out high profile developments in the city and suburbs, and growing the agency's rent roll to a portfolio overseen by three dedicated property managers. Within 12 months, Coldwell Banker went on to be named the REIQ Cairns Agency of the year for 2006. In 2013 Nicholas became part of the prestigious Belle Property network, establishing Belle Property Cairns.
