Create and publish a lease job

Create a lease job from a property record to request proposals from leasing agents or leasing and managing agents.

Before you start

Add the property and check its owner, team and address. A property is not available for a new lease job while its latest lease proposal is proposed or its lease is on foot.

Create the lease job

  1. Select Properties and open the property.
  2. Open Leases for that property and choose to create a lease job.
  3. Choose a suitable template if one exists, or start with the normal lease form.
  4. Complete the lease brief, lessor details, service requirements, rent information and bidding settings.
  5. Add relevant participants and review which agents may bid.
  6. Review the form and publish the job.

What happens when you publish

Vendorable notifies agents who meet the bidding settings or were directly invited. Agents can review the job and submit a structured lease proposal before bidding closes.

Before publishing, check

  • Whether the service is leasing only or includes ongoing management.
  • The rent estimate and frequency.
  • The service term, management requirements and brief.
  • The bids-due date and time, invitation choices, radius and maximum number of bids.

If a new lease is unavailable

Check the latest lease job and deal. A finished workspace by itself does not make the property available for another lease: the latest lease must also have completed, or a proposal must have been discontinued as appropriate.
