Create and publish a sale job

Create a sale job from a property record to request structured proposals from real estate agents and manage the appointment process.

Before you start

Add the property and check its owner, team and address. Decide what agents need to know, who should be able to bid, and whether bids should close at a particular date and time.

Create the sale job

  1. Select Properties and open the property.
  2. Open the sale area for the property and choose to create a sale job.
  3. Choose a template if an appropriate one exists, or start with the normal sale form.
  4. Complete the sale brief, seller and property information, bidding settings and any requested agreement details.
  5. Add stakeholders, lawyers or other participants where the form provides for them.
  6. Review the form and publish the job.

What happens when you publish

The job becomes available to agents who meet its bidding settings. Vendorable notifies relevant or directly invited agents. You can monitor notified agents and submitted bids from the sale record.

Before publishing, check

  • The brief tells agents what you expect in their proposal and after appointment.
  • The bids-due date and time allow enough time for inspection or research.
  • Invitation-only, radius and maximum-bid settings match the process you intend to run.
  • Any sale price estimate, property manager invitation and agent price-estimate visibility options are deliberate.

If the form will not publish

Review the errors beside the relevant fields. Published jobs cannot use a past bids-due time, and required address, property, seller or agreement information must be complete.
