Vendorable
Add and manage a property
Create one property record for the real estate you are managing, then use that record for its sale and lease jobs, documents and history.
Before you start
Complete your owner profile. If colleagues need access, create the team you intend to assign before adding the property.
Add a property
- Select Properties in the main navigation.
- Choose the control to add a property.
- Search for and select the address. Review the address fields before continuing.
- Select the team that should have access, if applicable.
- Enter the property details and any internal file reference you use.
- Save the property.
Manage the property record
Open Properties and select the address. You can update editable property and address details, view its sale and lease work, and use the files page for documents attached to the property.
A file reference is for the owner team. It helps people who work by matter or client reference find the record without relying only on the address.
Duplicate addresses
Vendorable may warn you when an accessible property already uses the same address. Review the warning before creating another record. Reusing the existing property preserves its history and avoids splitting sale or lease work between duplicates.
If you cannot edit the property
Check that you have access through the assigned team and that the property is not locked by a completed sale. If ownership needs to move to somebody else, use the transfer action rather than recreating the property.
